We are pleased to announce that two research papers were successfully presented at the 6th International Conference in Electronic Engineering and Information Technology (EEITE2025), held in Chania, Greece, from 4–6 June 2025. The conference brought together leading researchers in the fields of electronics and information technology and was organized alongside the 12th Erasmus International Week and 2nd ATHENA International Week at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (More at: https://eeite.hmu.gr).
The first paper, titled *’Non-invasive Stress Detection Using Body Posture and Motion Analysis with Deep Neural Networks’*, introduces a novel, vision-based method for recognizing stress in educational and social environments. The second, titled *’Reflections on Diversity: A Real-time Virtual Mirror for Inclusive 3D Face Transformations’*, presents our innovative MOD (Mirror of Diversity) application developed within the STEAMDIVE project framework. MOD uses GANs and 3D Morphable Models to deliver real-time, demographically diverse face transformations, raising awareness on multiculturalism, inclusion, and representation in STEAM education. The MOD system was developed as an educational tool and interactive installation, promoting the core values of the STEAMDIVE project.
