STEAMDIVE Multiplier Event in Turkey
29 May 2025
As part of the final dissemination phase of the Erasmus+ project STEAMDIVE: DIVERSITY IN STEAM, MUSEV hosted a well-attended Multiplier Event on May 29, 2025, at Ortaköy VET Center in Ankara, Türkiye. The event attracted 56 participants, including secondary school students, teachers, school administrators, and education professionals.
To ensure broader participation, the event was delivered in two identical sessions — morning and afternoon — each designed to encourage meaningful engagement from different groups.
Promoting Inclusive STEAM Education
Each session opened with a welcome and introduction by MUSEV representative Okan Yavuz, who emphasized the significance of inclusion and diversity in the context of contemporary education.
Participants were introduced to the core objectives and vision of the STEAMDIVE project, with a focus on how STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) can become a powerful tool for promoting diversity, empathy, and collaboration in schools. Educators showed particular interest in how the STEAM for Diversity Curriculum could be practically applied in Turkish secondary education.
