STEAMDIVE Multiplier Event in Serbia
15 June 2025
Tehnička škola Zaječar successfully hosted a rich and multifaceted Multiplier Event as part of the Erasmus+ STEAMDIVE project, aimed at promoting diversity and inclusive STEAM education. The event unfolded across four phases between April and June 2025, involving teachers, students, engineers, local authorities, and community members.
Phase 1: Outreach at National Association Meeting
The event series began on April 25, 2025, during the session of the Association of Electrical Engineering Schools of Serbia in Niš. Tehnička škola Zaječar presented the project’s objectives, educational tools, and achievements to representatives of 26 schools, raising awareness about integrating diversity and interdisciplinary approaches in secondary education.
Phase 2: Open Doors Day
On May 17, 2025, during the school’s annual Open Doors Day, students and parents were introduced to the STEAMDIVE curriculum, educational software (MTC and MOD), student-made pinhole cameras, and the three short films on diversity. The event emphasized the school’s commitment to modern and inclusive educational practices.
Phase 3: Professional Gathering in Zaječar
On June 9, 2025, Tehnička škola Zaječar hosted a specialized event for educators and engineers. Attendees explored the STEAMDIVE tools in-depth and discussed their application in teaching. The program included film screenings, script-to-screen workshops, and a pinhole photography exhibition, showcasing students’ artistic and scientific achievements.
Phase 4: Public Exhibition at the Theatre Museum
The final event took place on June 12, 2025, at the Theatre Museum in Zaječar. With over 200 attendees throughout the event series, this public presentation included speeches, film screenings, and a guided tour of the pinhole photography exhibition created by students. The exhibition remained open for ten days, attracting more than 500 visitors from local communities and schools.
This Multiplier Event was a powerful reflection of the STEAMDIVE project’s values—promoting diversity, creativity, and hands-on learning. The visit of the Greek partner school team further reinforced international collaboration and exchange of best practices.
