The STEAMDIVE Curriculum offers an innovative educational framework that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Developed through a collaboration of partners from Greece, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, and Turkey, the curriculum helps educators foster critical thinking, creativity, and intercultural understanding among students aged 13–18.
This resource includes seven comprehensive modules, each structured with practical tools, theoretical insights, and engaging classroom activities. It encourages the integration of art, digital literacy, and social awareness into science education, empowering both educators and learners to connect with real-world challenges and embrace diverse perspectives.
Curriculum Contents:
- Module 1: Scientific Enquiry Processes
Understanding the scientific method, enquiry skills, and real-world applications. - Module 2: Involvement of Reality in STEAM Education
From identifying societal challenges to designing and evaluating real-life solutions. - Module 3: Teaching of Critical Thinking
Logical reasoning, questioning bias, and digital storytelling for intercultural understanding. - Module 4: Integration of Art in STEM Education
Theory and practice of incorporating arts into STEM learning with assessment guidance. - Module 5: Development of Scientific Mind and Attitude
Digital literacy, programming, and robotics to support analytical thinking. - Module 6: Empowering Diversity
